We would like to say thanks to everyone; the special desserts, Edamame panna cotta and Edamame Rice cake ( ZUNDA-MOCHI) with Cameron Winery white wine agar Jelly, sold out! Because of you, we were able to donate $205 ( ¥23,370) to the Miyagi Prefecture, which will support Tohoku children who were impacted by the 2011 earthquake.

＊Edamame Rice cake, we call "ZUNDA-MOCHI"  is a traditional Japanese comfort food from the region surrounding Sendai. Lovers of all things mochi embrace the combo of slightly sweetened edamame and sticky rice, and in honor of those impacted by the 2011 earthquake our special dessert is a update on this classic dish.

⛄️⛄️ The PSU Farmers Market Cancelled Jan 14th, 2017 ⛄️⛄️

This decision was made after several trees in the park block we occupy fell due to heavy snow. The farmers market manager was on-site yesterday as crews were working to remove the fallen trees from Smith Student Union and consulted with Portland State University management who feel that it is unsafe for people to be in the park blocks at this time. The trees are still holding a great deal of snow and ice while branches continue to break. PFM does not take the closing of markets lightly but this decision has been made for the safety of customers and vendors.

Please stay safe and warm and we hope to see you next market, January 21st, 2017!!
